TwitterViewer Pro is the paid plan of TwitterViewer, the site that shows public X (Twitter) content without an X account. Everything you read is free. Pro costs $5 a month, or $48 a year (the same as $4 a month), and adds the Watchlist (20 accounts, hourly checks, email alerts), no rate limits and four features that X only serves to signed-in users. Free has no Watchlist. Payment is cryptocurrency only: you top up credits, and each billing period is charged from that balance.

What TwitterViewer Pro adds to the free plan

Free is not a trial. You can view posts, profiles, media and the first page of replies, check where an account is based, download videos and GIFs and keep bookmarks. None of it expires or needs a card, and the viewer on the home page works the same for everyone.

Pro adds four things:

  • The Watchlist. Free has no Watchlist. Pro watches 20 accounts, checks as often as hourly and emails you when they post.
  • No rate limits. Free viewing is capped at 120 requests a minute and video resolving at 30 a day. Pro has neither cap.
  • Four X account features. Advanced search, Community member export, the likes tab and replies beyond the first page. X only gives this data to logged-in users, so Pro fetches it with the account you connect.

The first rows are why most people never need Pro: the core viewer, the media viewer and the location check are free and stay free. Everything from "Watchlist size" down is what you pay for.

Who each plan is for

Free fits occasional and casual use. You open a link someone shared, read a thread, look at a public profile, save a video, or bookmark the accounts you come back to. The guide to viewing X posts without an account explains what this covers.

Pro fits monitoring and research. It makes sense when you:

  • want an email soon after an account posts, for example competitors, public figures, news sources or a creator you collect from, which the Pro Watchlist does;
  • run searches with operators and date ranges, or export Community members to a spreadsheet;
  • read long reply threads past the first page;
  • batch-download many videos in a day, or move quickly through many profiles without waiting on a rate limit.

If you need one of the four X account features only once, pay for a single month at $5 and stop. There is no minimum term beyond the period you pay for.

How TwitterViewer Pro billing works

Pro does not use a card on file. The model has three parts:

  1. Credits. You top up your balance with cryptocurrency. The balance is shown in US dollars, and a $15 top-up becomes $15 of credits.
  2. A plan period. When you subscribe, the price of one period ($5 monthly or $48 yearly) is taken from your credits right away, and Pro starts immediately.
  3. Renewal. When the period ends, the next one is taken from the balance automatically. Nothing is ever charged beyond your balance, so the account cannot go negative.

Top-ups come in four sizes: $5, $15, $30 and $60. On the monthly plan they cover 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. A yearly charge is $48, so you need a balance of at least $48 before you subscribe: a single $60 top-up does it, or two $30 top-ups. Whatever is left stays in your balance and counts toward the next charge.

The yearly plan is the same Pro, charged once for 12 months. It saves 20% against paying $5 twelve times ($48 instead of $60). You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time, and the change takes effect from your next period, so the period you already paid for is never shortened or charged twice.

The Plan and billing page shows your plan, balance, next charge and date, and a credit history of every top-up and charge.

How to pay with crypto: top up, then subscribe

You need a TwitterViewer account to hold credits. Viewing the site never requires one, but billing does.

  1. Sign in and open Plan and billing, or press Upgrade to Pro on the pricing page.
  2. Choose a top-up amount: $5, $15, $30 or $60.
  3. Choose a coin and network. The options are USDT on TRC20, USDT on ERC20, USDC on ERC20, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
  4. Send exactly the amount shown to the payment address, or scan the QR code. The rate is fixed when the request is created, so the amount does not drift while you pay.
  5. Wait for confirmations. The dialog shows how many confirmations have arrived out of the number required, and credits are added as soon as the payment is confirmed. You also get an email saying your credits have arrived.
  6. Choose monthly or yearly and press Upgrade. Pro is active straight away.

A few details matter:

  • The payment address is for one request. It expires after a short time, and the dialog says so. Do not send funds to an expired address; ask for a new one instead.
  • Send the exact amount on the right network. USDT on TRC20 and USDT on ERC20 are different networks with different addresses. A payment sent on the wrong network does not arrive.
  • Underpaying does not credit partially. If a transfer is short, the dialog reports that the payment did not complete. Contact support through the feedback button with your transaction details.
  • A slow transfer is covered. If a renewal falls due while a transfer is still confirming, the grace period (below) keeps Pro running.

Network fees for sending the transfer, and any exchange withdrawal fee, are paid by you on top of the amount shown. There is no card or bank option: Pro accepts cryptocurrency only.

The four X account features in Pro

X serves four kinds of data only to signed-in users. TwitterViewer cannot read them without an X session, so Pro runs these requests on your own X account:

  • Advanced search. Search by account, phrase, date range, language, engagement and media. The operators guide lists the syntax.
  • Community export. Read a Community's details and export its members as CSV or Excel, up to 1,000 people per export. The Communities guide covers what a Community is and what members you can see.
  • Likes tab. On a profile, the Likes tab lists the posts a user liked. X makes likes private, so this only works for the account whose cookie you connected: you can read your own likes, not someone else's.
  • Replies past the first page. The reply viewer shows the first page, roughly 30 replies, for free. Pro fetches page two onward.

These four do not run without a connected X account. If you only read public posts, profiles and media, none of this is needed.

How to connect your X account

Connection is a one-time step under Account, then X account, and it requires Pro.

  1. Open x.com in your browser and sign in.
  2. Open developer tools (F12, or Option+Command+I on a Mac), go to Application (Storage in Firefox), then Cookies, then https://x.com.
  3. Copy the values of auth_token and ct0, and paste them into the form.
  4. Press Connect X account. TwitterViewer checks the values with X before saving them.

Once connected, a bar on each Pro feature shows which account is in use. If you sign out of X in that browser, change your password, or the session expires, X stops accepting the saved cookie. The page then says "Needs reconnecting" and you paste fresh values.

Watchlist limits and check frequency

The Watchlist emails you when a public account posts or replies. It is a Pro feature: Free has no Watchlist and cannot add accounts to it.

FreePro
Watched accountsNo Watchlist20
Check frequencyNot availableEvery 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours
Default for a new accountNot available1 hour
Email alertsNot availableNew posts and replies, or a daily digest

Notes that save surprises:

  • Public accounts only. A protected account cannot be added, because its posts are not public.
  • Checks are not live. With hourly checks, a new post can wait up to an hour before it triggers an email.
  • Emails are tunable. You can turn alerts off per account, switch to a daily digest, or let TwitterViewer pause emails when you stop visiting.
  • Downgrading pauses, it does not delete. If Pro ends and you go back to Free, every account already on the list stays there but is marked paused: it is not checked and sends no email. Upgrade again and they all resume, with the check frequencies you picked. On Free you cannot add new accounts.

Rate limits and video allowance

Free viewing allows 120 requests a minute. That is plenty for reading, but opening many profiles quickly can reach it. The page then shows a limit message with a retry time, and the upgrade prompt offers Pro, which has no limit.

The Video Downloader resolves 30 videos a day on Free, in batches of up to 10 links. Pro removes the daily count; the 10-link batch size stays.

What happens when your credits run low

Renewals are automatic, so a low balance is the main thing to watch. The process is:

  1. Before the charge. If your balance is below the next charge, the billing page warns you and shows the date to top up before.
  2. On the renewal date. If the balance does not cover the charge, Pro does not end. It enters a grace period of 3 days, and you get an email that your balance did not cover the renewal.
  3. During the grace period. Pro features keep working. As soon as a top-up is confirmed, the renewal is charged and Pro continues without interruption. The new period counts from that moment.
  4. After the grace period. If the balance is still short, the account returns to Free. Your data stays: bookmarks, the Watchlist (with every account paused) and credit history are kept, and the X account connection is simply no longer usable until you upgrade.

If you decide not to continue, cancelling during the grace period drops the account to Free immediately, so there is no reason to wait it out.

Cancel, resume and leave

You can cancel from Plan and billing at any time, with no form and no notice period.

  • Cancel. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Your remaining credits stay in your balance, and nothing more is charged.
  • Resume. Until that end date you can press Resume plan. The period was already paid, so you are not charged again, and normal renewal continues afterwards.
  • Switch cycle. Monthly to yearly, or back, applies from the next period.
  • Come back later. After a plan ends, the leftover balance is still there and pays for your next subscription.
  • Delete your account. This ends Pro immediately and forfeits the remaining credits, which cannot be refunded or restored. You can download your data first from Account, then Data and privacy.

Your data, privacy and what we store

  • Viewing is not tracked. The site has no ads and no third-party tracking pixels, and reading public content needs no account.
  • A site account stores what the features need: your email, plan, credit balance and history, top-up records, Watchlist and notification settings, and bookmarks.
  • Your X cookie is stored encrypted, used only for requests you start, never shown back to you or anyone else, left out of your data export, and deleted when you disconnect or delete your account.
  • No card data exists. Payments are cryptocurrency requests and confirmations only.

TwitterViewer Pricing FAQs

What is TwitterViewer Pro?

TwitterViewer Pro is the paid plan of TwitterViewer. It costs $5 a month or $48 a year, and adds the Watchlist (20 accounts, checked as often as hourly), no rate limits, and advanced search, Community export, the likes tab and reply pagination run through your own X account.

Is TwitterViewer really free?

Yes. Viewing public posts, profiles, media, replies (first page), account location, trends and similar accounts is free, with no sign-in and no payment details. Video and GIF downloads are free within a daily allowance of 30 video resolves. A free account adds bookmark sync. The Watchlist is Pro only.

How do I pay for TwitterViewer Pro?

Pay with cryptocurrency by topping up credits, then subscribe from the balance. Choose $5, $15, $30 or $60, pick USDT (TRC20 or ERC20), USDC (ERC20), Bitcoin or Ethereum, and send the exact amount to the address shown. When the payment confirms, credits are added and each Pro period is charged from them. There is no card or bank payment.

Do I need an X account for Pro?

No for the plan and for most Pro benefits; yes for four features. The Watchlist (20 accounts, hourly checks) and no rate limits need only your TwitterViewer account. Advanced search, Community export, the likes tab and reply pages beyond the first need an X account, because X only serves that data to signed-in users. Reading public content never needs one, on Free or Pro.

Is it safe to connect my X account?

The cookie is checked with X, stored encrypted and used only for requests you start. It is never shown back, not included in your data export, and deleted when you disconnect or delete your account. We never ask for your X password. Requests go to X with your session, so X may treat them as activity from your account.

Will it renew automatically?

Yes, from your credit balance and only up to what you have. At the end of each period the next one is charged from credits. There is no card to bill, so nothing can be charged beyond the balance. To stop renewal, cancel; Pro stays active until the period you paid for ends.

What happens if my credits run out?

Pro continues for a 3-day grace period, and you are emailed. If you top up during those days, the renewal is charged and Pro carries on without a break. If you do not, the account returns to Free. Your bookmarks and history stay, and every Watchlist account is paused (not checked, no emails) until you upgrade again.

Can I cancel TwitterViewer Pro, and do I keep my credits?

Yes, at any time. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, nothing more is charged, and your remaining credits stay in your balance. You can resume the plan until the end date without being charged twice. Deleting your account is different: it ends Pro immediately and forfeits remaining credits.

Does the yearly plan cost less?

Yes. Yearly is $48 charged once for 12 months, which is $4 a month, against $60 for twelve months at $5. That is a 20% saving, and you can switch cycle at any time.

Does TwitterViewer track me or the accounts I look up?

No. The site has no ads and no third-party tracking pixels, and viewing public content needs no account. Account owners are not told who looks at them. On Pro, the Watchlist stores the accounts you choose to watch and uses your last visit only to decide how often to email you.

Do I get invoices?

You get a credit history, not tax invoices. Plan and billing lists every top-up and every plan charge with its date, description, status and amount, and you receive an email when a top-up is confirmed. The list is also in the JSON file you can download from Account, then Data and privacy.
